Summer League Registration
Modesto CQB is proud to announce that registration for the Summer league season is now available! Don't miss your chance to compete in stat-tracked matches versus the cream of the crop. Can you prove that your team has what it takes to win the championship or will you make a name for yourself by racking up amazing personal stats?
Matches will be held on Monday nights starting June 7th at 6:00pm and continue every week at the same time. The regular season will last 8-10 weeks followed by 2-3 weeks of the Gauntlet which will be a tiered eliminaton bracket leading up to the Championship.
To make make it into the Gauntlet and eventually the Championship, teams will rack up victory points in our new Advanced Elimination game type. Teams can earn 2 victory points in a match with a Total Annihilation victory, meaning they eliminated all opponents in under 10 minutes. Teams can earn 1 victory point by having at least one team member past the mid point of the arena after 10 minutes for a Submission victory.
Element leaders who wish to register their teams must be 17 years or older and must report teams of at least 5 standard element members and 2 alternate element members. For teams of 10 or more players, two team names may be registered and substituting may take place between the associated teams. Element leaders may reserve their team's slot in the league by sending a PM to Shadow.
To avoid confusion, pricing will no longer be separated between team and individual registration. Pricing per-participant to cover stat tracking for the entire season is as follows:
One time fee due 6/7/10 - $90
or two payments due 6/7/10 and 7/5/10 - $55
or per night of play - $20
Included is a a shot at the TBA championship and entry into the all new personal stat tracking system that will be unveiled with the start of the league on June 7th.

im most likely going to be able to join summer league.. if join the summer league do i get free games on sat? and how does registration work.. do i just join a team and let you know or do i have to goto mcqb by the due date and give you the money?
No, prices remain the same for everyone on Saturdays. League membership only pays for league matches
If you want to join league and still don't have a team I suggest you get on it. League starts in 6 days.

There are two new achievements to be had in the summer league! They are...
Blitzkrieg: Participate in a total annihilation victory achieved in 03:00 or less.
Team Player: Participate in a total annihilation victory achieved with each player scoring one kill.

Right now we have 4 confirmed teamed for league but it's still not too late to come out this week
stats take a week or so to get posted. I think there are going to be some changes so it might take a little longer than usual for last week.

The public games are up and running. This weekend there werent any people at the afternoon session but the night session on saturdays are always full of people...show up and see for yourself

No worries, MCQB is still going strong. Just seems that some people have been taking care of their lives away from airsoft. Crazy, I know but it happens :)

Congratulations to the cunning DNR team which hosts many players that competed in the Spring League Championship. Well fought!
The competition was intense all summer. Every team was great and played with integrity. In all honesty, we (DNR) studied TSA during matches and learned from them how to get it right. You guys are the Gold Standard. The competition is tight, so the fall league should not bring out the faint of heart.

We've had a few die-hard teams sign up for the Summer league and we are expecting plenty of slackers to sign up the day it starts but here's little incentive for you.
The next two full teams to sign up for the Summer league get $15 off their first payment. That means only $5 for your first night if you're paying by the night, or $30 first payment if you're financing, or $75 if you're paying up front.
Those of you looking for hot deals (whose names may or may not be ARES) should really do the math on this one, keeping in mind that this covers 10-12 weeks of stat-tracked airsoft.
Also, MCQB is equipped with a chrono now so make sure that the weapon you wish to use shoots 400 FPS or less.
